Not much to report today
WSW winds and short period swell.
Looking forward looks like a new tropical low is starting to form off the Northern Territory,this might send some more swell towards Nemberala.

Stormy conditions currently here in Nemberala.
Strong nw winds.
Offshore at Boa although a bit lumpy,surf height around 5to6 ft
With a pending cyclone or two forecast off the top end of Australia we might see some solid swell hitting the east coast of Rote.
Hopefully some of the rare gems light up with some classic a frame peaks.
Season has changed
With Xmas just around the corner,some excellent surfing conditions are still around here on Rote Island.
Many of the east coast breaks have been lighting up lately,with the west wind bringing offshore winds on the east coast.
With cyclone or two pending off the top of Australia,we should hopefully see solid swell pushing in over the Xmas period.

The wet season is starting to fill in now,with sporadic rain periods now the norm most days.
The landscape is changing dramatically in Nemberala.
Green grass coming back to life after the long dry season.
The local Rotenese people are all busy planting rice and various vegetables.
Winds are very calm and the ocean surface smooth and glassy,making for excellent fishing conditions.

Solid swell hitting the reefs this morning,4 to5 ft with the occasional larger bomb coming through at T-Land.
