This morning on the incoming tide, T-Land had a handful of crew enjoying head high waves reaping down the point.
The wind was non existent and clear blue skies.
The shoulder season of April has been doing its usual thing and keeping all surfers stoked here in Nemberala.

The 3-4ft swell is still hanging in there today, with super long rides coming off the point and running all the way down T-Land reef.
Boa has some sweet waves on today as well, with the outside section throwing up some nice over head barrels.
This is a great start to the surf season here on Rote.
Let’s hope the Indian Ocean keeps the swells coming throughout the next nine months.

The weather is magnificent currently.
Clear blue skies with gentle offshore winds,typical of the shoulder season here in Nemberala.
We’ve had a good run of waves over the past 4 days, keeping the surfers at villa Santai happy.
The evening sunsets have been amazing as well.

The weather has become sunny and the west wind has abated.
Light easterly winds are the norm now.
Fishing and spear fishing conditions have been superb.
Glassy surface water and clear visibility.
On the swell front the forecast is looking promising, with 3-4foot swell on its way.
Nemberala is still relatively quiet, with around 20 tourists enjoying themselves.

Villa Santai is now open for the 2017 surf season.
Management and staff are looking forward to receiving guests, some new and many repeat guests who had a great time here in our first year of business 2016.
We are excited to be able to offer the same excellent personal service and fantastic food we provided last year.
Our chef has said she has some new tasty recipes and is looking forward to putting them on the table this year.
Many of our guests were of male gender last year.
They are coming again this year but not on their own.
They are bringing their wives or partners with them as they quickly realised on their previous trip, Rote Island is a beautiful place and they new their partners would enjoy the beautiful beaches and the local people of Nemberala.
